I am a tax litigator who also designs the structures that keep family companies and fast-moving deals on track. From audits and objections to appeals in the Tax Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Canada, I handle the fights with the CRA. When the fight is over, I draft the freeze, the reorg, or the share purchase that locks in the win.
My training in finance (University of Ottawa) and law (Windsor) lets me read a balance sheet as quickly as a statute. I ran multi-million-dollar investor-fraud cases, built my own firm, and now anchor Berger Law’s Ottawa expansion—all while keeping client names out of the news and tax bills in check.
I write code as readily as pleadings, using Python and LangChain to sift documents and trim costs. Licensed in Ontario and fluent in English, French, and Spanish, I answer my phone, speak plainly, and move fast. I once biked across Canada for fun; getting your tax matter sorted will take less time.
